How to report infringement
If you believe content on MX Tickets infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send our agent a written notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- a description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed, or, for several works, a representative list of them;
- the content you claim is infringing and should be removed, with enough detail for us to find it, ideally the link (URL) to each item;
- your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
A notice that leaves out these elements may not be valid under the DMCA. Before you send one, consider whether the use could be fair use or otherwise permitted. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that content is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
What we do with a notice
When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the content promptly. We tell the user who posted it that we did so and why, and we may share a copy of the notice with them, including your name and contact details, so they can respond.
How to send a counter-notice
If we removed content you posted and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send our agent a written counter-notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the content that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which the company named above that removed the content may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we forward it to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to stop the infringement, we restore the content within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, we disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others. Content that was restored after a valid counter-notice does not count towards this.
Other reports
To report content that is unlawful for another reason, or that infringes rights other than copyright, use the report function next to the content or write to legal@mx-tickets.com. This policy is part of how we handle content under our Terms of Use.
