Championships and race series racing in California, with every upcoming race weekend.

The biggest indoor dirt bike series in the world: seventeen Saturday nights in NFL stadiums from Anaheim in January to the Salt Lake City finale in May. The 250SX class splits into East and West regions that meet only at the Showdown.

America's outdoor national series: eleven Saturdays of two-moto racing on the toughest tracks in the country, from Fox Raceway in California to the Ironman finale in Indiana. Feeds into the SuperMotocross playoffs.

The post-season that settles SuperMotocross. Points from Supercross and Pro Motocross carry into three September rounds on hybrid tracks that blend stadium and outdoor sections, with the title decided at the Final.

Held every November at Glen Helen Raceway since the mid-1980s (the 2025 running was billed as the '41st Annual', putting the first edition around 1985), the World Vet Motocross Championship is the marquee annual event for riders 25 and over of every ability level, not a multi-round points series, but a single headline weekend, part of the venue's own 'Glen Helen Classics' calendar of annual traditions alongside the AMA Pro National and the 2-Stroke World MX Championship. Current-title sponsor is Dubya USA (raced as the 'Dubya World Vet MX Championships'). It pairs the individual championship with the World Vet Cup of Nations, a team competition where four-rider squads race under their national flag. The 2025 edition drew entrants from over 20 countries: 874 riders on Glen Helen's own published entry list, ~45% of them from outside the US. The 2026 dates moved: an older Glen Helen Facebook post cited Oct 30–Nov 1, but the event's own nav link on glenhelen.com now gives Nov 6–8, 2026.

The national, top-tier arenacross championship in North America, promoted by AX Promotions under AMA sanction and recognized by FIM North America, with rounds across the US and Canada each winter.

The biggest amateur race in the world, and the one every American pro has ridden. Six days at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Tennessee, 1,500+ riders across 36 classes, all of whom earned their spot through a nationwide qualifying process.

A 20+ year running endurance-format motocross series at Glen Helen Raceway: 6-Hour, 10-Hour and 24-Hour team races, among the top endurance events in the western US.

Youth minicross racing for Mini and Stacyc classes at Glen Helen Raceway.

AMP/GFI Motocross's annual fall/winter traveling series across its Northern California partner tracks. Despite the "Triple Crown" name, the round count and venue mix have varied by year: 6 rounds across 3 venues in 2022 (Argyll, Oatfield, MMX Racing), 2 rounds in one weekend at Argyll only in 2024, and 4 rounds across 4 venues (Oatfield, Argyll, MMX, E-Street) in 2025. Only two legs are posted for the 2026 season: Round 1 at Oatfield Raceway on Sep 19, and a 3-day "Triple Crown Race Weekend" at Argyll MX Park, Oct 23-25, with practice Friday and racing Saturday and Sunday. The Argyll weekend counts as rounds 2 and 3, one per race day, matching the literal "Triple Crown" (3-round) name and the 2024 pattern of two rounds across one Saturday/Sunday weekend at a single venue, though AMP does not number the two Argyll days itself. No further 2026 rounds have been posted, at MMX Racing or E-Street MX Park (both used in past years) or anywhere else.

Vintage-to-vet motocross club racing natural-terrain courses styled after how tracks used to be laid out, spanning pre-linkage/pre-disk-brake vintage classes through modern bikes and 40+/50+/60+ age brackets. Runs primarily at Glen Helen Raceway.

Northern Nevada's regional motocross championship, run by non-profit Battle Born Motocross (BBMX), based in Reno, NV. Self-described as an 11+ round annual championship split into a Spring Series and a Fall Series, racing mainly at Stead MX in Reno, NV plus Fernley, NV and several Sacramento-area California venues (Marysville, Rancho Cordova). Dates are out for 6 of the 11+ rounds, 5 Spring and 1 Fall; the rest, Fall Round 1 included, have not been published.

AMA District 36 (Northern California / Eastern Nevada) runs a full sprint-enduro (and companion family-enduro) program across Northern California clubs, on a multi-round 2026 calendar published by the district itself. District 36 runs no motocross program: its disciplines are cross country, dirt track, enduro/family enduro, hill climb, and off-road grand prix.

Long-running annual vintage/GP-style motocross festival at Glen Helen Raceway over Thanksgiving weekend, presented by Red Bull and organized by Fasthouse/Day in the Dirt, LLC. The 2026 edition (Nov 27-29) is billed as the 28th running ('Red Bull Day in the Dirt #28'). It is a single non-points signature weekend, not a season-long championship, and it is not a round of anything: listings that number it 'Round 2' of a 'Glen Helen Classics calendar' are just counting Glen Helen's unrelated headline traditions (the World Vet Motocross Championship among them) in order.

4-round Southern California amateur motocross series (Inland Empire + Joshua Tree), winter/spring segment of the CMXRS/Swapmoto Race Series season.

A new electric-motorcycle motocross series launched in 2026 by American Electric Racing, run at Glen Helen Raceway's Arroyo Vet Track. Some listings carry the track-side label "Freedom Electric Racing"; the organizer's own site and event copy ("Opening Round of The Freedom Series") call it "The Freedom Series". Only two rounds are posted for the inaugural 2026 season, both at the same venue roughly a month apart, and no full-season calendar is out yet.

Youth/mini-bike motocross series hub running three consecutive named sub-series across 2026 (Thriller Beez Series, On Track School Summer Series, Rad Riders Series) at Southern California and Southern Nevada tracks.

Seven-round AMA-sanctioned qualifying ladder run by 2XP LLC (dba 2X Promotions) at motocross tracks across Southern and Central California. Each racer only has to qualify once per class, in any round, to earn an invite to the Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross season finale at Mammoth Mountain.

Glen Helen Raceway's own recurring Saturday club-race series, run in numbered seasonal sub-series (Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall) across the year.

18-round 2026 veteran/masters-class (30+) amateur motocross club series racing twice a month across Glen Helen, Ride Perris and Cahuilla Creek in the Inland Empire. Several rounds are run as a guest class alongside another promoter's event (OTHG, EVO Race, Saturday MX) at the same venue/date rather than a standalone SoCal Vet MX date.

Grand Prix-style off-road racing club founded in 1970, run by Rich & Cathy Suitor at Glen Helen Raceway. Courses blend motocross-track sections with off-road terrain across day GP rounds and occasional night races.
