Championships and race series racing in South Carolina, with every upcoming race weekend.

The biggest amateur race in the world, and the one every American pro has ridden. Six days at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Tennessee, 1,500+ riders across 36 classes, all of whom earned their spot through a nationwide qualifying process.

8-round 2026 amateur motocross points series rotating across four South Carolina tracks: SCMX (Batesburg), DNA MX (Saluda), Pineville MX Park (Pineville), and Strawberry Hill Motocross Raceway (Fountain Inn). Distinct from the SCMX Summer Series despite sharing the SCMX venue for two of its rounds.

One of four Victory Sports Racing series touring a shared pool of Southeastern tracks; 12 of 20 scheduled rounds count toward series awards, with several weekends doubling as state championships shared across the BIG, MEGA and ULTRA series.

8-round 2026 amateur motocross points series touring tracks across Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. The series posts the full round-by-round schedule on its own site. Three of the eight rounds are at Georgia tracks: Southern Training Facility & Raceway (Bainbridge), Georgia Practice Facility (Cairo), and Alma MX Park (Alma).

Large multi-round (15+ rounds/season) amateur motocross points series rotating across a network of NC/SC/TN tracks (Big Oak MX, Cathey's Creek MX, 221 MX, Top Gun MX, Muddy Creek Raceway, Iron City Motorsports Park, Travelers Rest Speedway/TR MX).

2026 amateur motocross points series held entirely at H5 MX Compound in Manning, SC. At least five rounds run: Rounds 1-2 have their own event pages, and registration for Round 5 opened in late August 2026.

Multi-state off-road GP championship run by J-Day Off-Road, closed-course races combining motocross-track sections with woods/grass, not pure motocross and not a classic point-to-point enduro. Seven rounds across Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts and New York in 2026; the season also runs a separate youth STACYC Series and a Massachusetts-only 'New England Series' at some of the same venues, neither modeled here.

Annual (now 3rd-year) 3-round amateur motocross cup series held entirely at The Master's Motoplex in Gaston, SC.

One of four Victory Sports Racing series touring a shared pool of Southeastern tracks; a 20-round full-season schedule with a Tennessee State Championship weekend at Muddy Creek and further state-championship weekends shared with the BIG and ULTRA series.

AMA-sanctioned amateur motocross championship formed by several North Carolina track owners to crown 'a true AMA NC Motocross Champion in every class'; 15 rounds are scheduled for 2026 (Feb-Dec) across a shared pool of NC tracks, plus one probable SC round at 'Masters MotoPlex', which looks to be The Master's Motoplex in Gaston SC, home of the Masters Cup Series. Rounds 7 and 11 are at a venue billed only as 'VMP', with no town published.

An AMA-sanctioned regional arenacross series produced by TRISTAR MX, touring arenas across the eastern US each winter with Pro and All-Star doubleheader weekends.

SC-headquartered amateur motocross points series (SCMX/South Carolina Motocross), 2026 Summer Series with rounds at its Batesburg home track plus Turkey Creek MX (Edgefield) and DNA MX (Saluda). The org also runs a Winter Series (next edition Jan-Feb 2027).

A separate Winter Series from South Carolina Motocross (SCMX), run by Justin Moon, Adam Mattson and Josh Barrow, the same people behind the 'South Carolina Motocross (SCMX) Summer Series', and announced for 2027. SCMX chose to skip a Fall Series and put that effort into a winter-season points series instead, to dodge the holiday season and invest more into sponsors, awards and track prep. The plan is "five rounds of racing across three premier tracks, capped by an awards banquet on April 24" (2027), but only the first three rounds have dates and venues so far: Jan 9, Jan 23 and Feb 6 2027, alternating between Oak & Harrow MX and Turkey Creek MX, both in Edgefield. Rounds 4-5, and the third of the three advertised 'premier tracks', have not been announced, and the promoter's own site, scmxracing.com, currently 404s.

The Tidewater Motocross Association (TMX)'s traveling race-weekend brand, a single points series that tours a different host track each round rather than owning one venue. TMX's own promo copy describes the 2026 slate as 'nine weekends across Virginia and the Carolinas,' but the nine venues actually locked into the 2026 schedule are all in North Carolina and South Carolina (New Black Ankle Raceway twice, North Carolina Motorsports Park (NCMP) twice (once as a full MX/SX double-header, once as a Supercross-only Saturday), JWTF MX, Cow Branch MX twice, Elizabeth City Motocross Club (ECMX), and a season finale at H5 MX Compound in Manning, SC), so the season stays in the Carolinas. Round 4 (NCMP, Aug 22) is a single-day Supercross date rather than the usual Sat/Sun motocross weekend, but it counts toward the same TMX points season. Rounds 1-4 ran Apr to Aug. Tidewater MX's RaceReady listings open a wider Thu-Sun window around each Sat/Sun race date to take in the practice days.

One of four Victory Sports Racing series touring a shared pool of Southeastern tracks; 13 of 20 scheduled rounds count toward series awards, opening with an AMA Pro-Am / Area Qualifier weekend at South of the Border MX.
